Hydrothermal Method

A technique that simulates the environment in which natural gemstones form deep underground. In an autoclave, high temperature and pressure are used to dissolve chemical substances in an aqueous solution and recrystallize them.

Process: Raw materials are placed at the bottom of a high-pressure vessel, and a seed crystal is suspended at the top. Water and a mineralizer are injected. The bottom is heated to create convection, causing the dissolved raw materials to move to the cooler top and slowly grow on the seed crystal.

Advantages: It can synthesize creations that are extremely similar to natural gemstones in terms of chemical composition, physical properties, and even inclusion characteristics.

Czochralski Method

Process: Raw materials are placed in a crucible and heated until completely melted (at extremely high temperatures, exceeding 2000 degrees Celsius). A rotating seed crystal is touched to the surface of the melt. It is then pulled upwards at an extremely slow speed while rotating, causing the melt to solidify at the end of the seed crystal and grow into a large rod-shaped crystal.

Advantages: Extremely high purity and almost no imperfections.
